The rules for using imagesplitter.live, in plain language.

Interpretation and definitions

Words that start with a capital letter have the meanings below. These meanings apply whether the word is used in the singular or the plural.

• "Company" ("we", "us", "our") means the owner and operator of imagesplitter.live.
• "Service" means the imagesplitter.live website, including the image splitter tool and all content on it.
• "You" means the person using the Service, or the company or other legal entity on whose behalf that person uses it.
• "Content" means any image, file or other material you add to the Service.

Using the Service

The Service is a free tool that cuts an image into smaller pieces. You may use it for personal or business purposes, as long as you follow these Terms and the law. When you use the Service you agree not to:

• Use it for anything illegal, harmful, abusive or misleading
• Process images you do not have the right to use, or that infringe someone else's copyright, privacy or other rights
• Try to break, overload, scrape or interfere with the website or its security
• Copy, resell or republish the website itself or its design as your own
• Use bots or automated systems to access the Service in a way that harms it or other visitors

Your images and content

The image splitter works inside your browser. Your images are processed on your own device and are not uploaded to or stored by us (see the Privacy Policy). You keep all rights to your images and to the pieces you create from them.

You are responsible for making sure you have the right to use and split any image you add, and for how you use the results. We have no control over, and take no responsibility for, what you do with the files you download.

Our intellectual property

The website, its design, text, code, logo and other materials belong to the Company or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. These Terms do not give you any ownership of them. You may use the Service as intended, but you may not copy or reuse our materials without our written permission.

Advertising

The Service is free and may show advertisements, including ads provided by third parties such as Google. These advertisers are responsible for their own content and practices. We do not endorse any product or service shown in an ad.

Links to other websites

The Service may link to websites or services that we do not own or control, including third-party social media services. We are not responsible for their content, policies or practices, and we are not liable for any loss or damage caused by using them. Please read the terms and privacy policy of any site you visit.

Termination

We may suspend or end your access to the Service at any time, without notice or liability, for any reason, including if you break these Terms. If your access ends, your right to use the Service ends immediately.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, the Company's total liability to you for all claims related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us through the Service, or 100 US dollars if you have not bought anything.

The Company is not liable for any special, incidental, indirect or consequential damages. This includes lost profits, lost or damaged data, loss of business, or other losses arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we were told such damage was possible. Some places do not allow these limits, so they apply only as far as the law permits.

"As is" and "as available" disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", with all faults and without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, the Company disclaims all warranties, whether express or implied, including those of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

We do not promise that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, accurate or free of errors, that results will meet your needs, or that any file you create will be free of defects. You use the Service at your own risk, and you should keep your own copy of any original image.

Governing law

These Terms and your use of the Service are governed by the laws of the State of Alaska, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer in the European Union or another place with mandatory consumer protection laws, you also keep the rights those laws give you.

Resolving disputes

European Union users

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you keep the mandatory protections of the country where you live. Nothing in these Terms removes the rights you are given by those laws.

United States legal compliance

You confirm that you are not located in a country under a United States government embargo, or that has been designated a "terrorist-supporting" country, and that you are not on any United States government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

Severability and waiver

If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that part will be changed and applied as far as possible to reach its purpose, and the rest of the Terms remain in effect. If we do not enforce a right or require a duty under these Terms, that does not mean we have given up that right, and it does not affect our ability to enforce it later.

Translations

If we provide these Terms in languages other than English, the translations are for convenience only. If there is any difference or dispute, the original English version prevails.

Changes to these Terms

We may change or replace these Terms at any time. If a change is material, we will make reasonable efforts to give at least 30 days' notice before it takes effect, for example by updating the "Last updated" date on this page. What counts as material is decided by us. By continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect, you agree to the updated Terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the Service.
